Chef Carlos Montoya, our talented culinary creator, brings years of experience and a deep love for fresh, handcrafted ingredients to every dish. From perfectly rolled pastas to flavorful sauces, Chef Carlos’ approach is rooted in tradition, yet always with a modern twist.

Alongside him, Sheenagh Caridi, co-owner and General Manager, ensures every guest experience is seamless—from our fresh pasta and sauces sold by the pound, or dining inside our cafe, to our intimate in-home dining experiences, catering services, and unforgettable wedding events. Sheenagh's extensive background in hospitality allows her to bring a personalized touch to every event, creating not just a meal, but a memorable experience.

Together, Chef Carlos and Sheenagh blend their talents and passions to bring you the best in fine dining comfort food, made with love and served with care. Whether you’re grabbing a pound of fresh pasta to cook at home or enjoying a multi-course meal at one of our events, you can always expect quality, authenticity, and a taste of the Island in every bite.

  • Co-Owner/Founder/Executive Chef

    Carlos is a Martha’s Vineyard and Boston based private chef/caterer that has been cooking for more than 20 years. Colombian born, and raised in Queens N.Y. He has held numerous roles throughout his career in New York, Boston and Martha’s Vineyard.

    Carlos moved to Martha's Vineyard in 2008 and has worked at the Sweet Life, Detente, Edgartown Yacht Club and Garde East. He has had the pleasure of having cooked for Presidents Barack Obama, and Bill Clinton.

    He calls his style, “Inspirational cooking”. He is inspired by the seasons, by what’s available, and what’s local. 


    His experience with cooking a wide variety of cuisines is deep, and that experience allows him to be nimble when introducing new ingredients to familiar dishes or when it comes to merging modern gastronomy with classic French techniques.

  • Co-Owner/General Manager/Catering & Events

    Sheenagh is a hospitality pro with over 20 years of experience and a true passion for making every guest feel like family. She started at 17 as a hostess, and quickly worked her way up through bartending, managing, and running food & beverage operations for a large hotel chain, all before becoming an expert in events and nightclub management.

    Now, as co-owner of the restaurant, Sheenagh combines her expertise and love for creating unforgettable experiences, making sure every detail is just right. She’s all about good food, great service, and having a blast while doing it!

    When she’s not running the restaurant, Sheenagh is busy as the founder of Fetch, The Canine Company, where she brings her entrepreneurial spirit and love for dogs to life as a Master Canine Trainer.

    With her dynamic leadership and fun-loving attitude, Sheenagh is always up for the fast pace of hospitality—and her goal is simple: to make every guest’s visit something special and memorable.
